Abhishek’s practice is focused on securing patent rights for inventors and building clients’ intellectual property portfolios. He is passionate about his work besides delivering quality work product. Abhishek’s wide knowledge base enables him to creatively prepare patent claims, and argue for patentability of inventions. His diverse educational experience spanning engineering, management, and law helps him to connect and effectively communicate with inventors, business people, and in-house counsels. Abhishek’s technical experience in patent practice involves a broad mix of technologies including circuit design, telecommunication systems, computer networks, software technologies, operating systems, UI design as well as electronic, electrical and electro-mechanical devices.
Abhishek has been associated with Pearne & Gordon since the first year of his law school. Prior to that, he had over two years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution. He also gained industry experience in video streaming and content delivery networks during his MS at Georgia Tech. Abhishek has served in elected leadership positions including Senator, Student Government Association at Georgia Tech during his first Master’s degree, and Chairperson of the IEEE Student Branch during his first Bachelor’s degree. He is adaptive and receptive of geographical, racial, and cultural diversity. Abhishek served as the Graduate Student Representative on the Search Committee for recruiting Georgia Tech’s Vice President for Institute Diversity. Abhishek’s dual qualification to practice in US as well as India enables him to be in sync with global practice trends.
