Expertise in all phases of the practice of intellectual property law, encompassing patents, trademarks, unfair competition, copyrights and including the litigation of patents, preparation and prosecution of patent applications, rendering validity and infringement opinions, negotiating and preparing license agreements, and business counseling. Concentration in all phases of the mechanical arts, including machine design, hydraulics, power systems, and electronic controls.
Prior work experience included associate legal work at the predecessor law firm of McNenny, Farrington, Pearne & Gordon, and earlier employment as a mechanical engineer doing research and development work on printing presses, optical systems, photo duplicators, material handling systems, credit card embossing systems, which resulted in patented processes.
