Deborah Corpus is a partner at Pearne & Gordon LLP. She has extensive experience with preparing and prosecuting patent, trademark, and copyright applications.  The areas of her expertise include computer science, electrical, chemical, biomechanical, and pharmaceutical arts. She has handled various disputes including trademark oppositions, trademark and trade dress infringement, and copyright disputes.

Additionally, her practice involves counseling and rendering infringement, patentability, and validity opinions in the above technologies. In particular, she provides pre-ANDA clearances for FDA submission as well as freedom-to-operate opinions. Drafting and negotiating various business agreements and documents including confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements are also a part of her practice.

Deborah is currently a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, the International Trademark Association, the Cleveland Intellectual Property Law Association (CIPLA), and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, and Co-Chair of the Public Relations and Website Committee of CIPLA.
